Three days packed with fun and excitement for the entire family are coming to Senatobia with the arrival of the 2023 Tate County Fair. The event runs Thursday, June 15 through Saturday, June 17, at the fairgrounds east of the former site of Chromcraft on Norfleet Drive.
Carnival rides, livestock display, petting zoo, arts and crafts, Dexter Cow show, and an International Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (IPRCA) Rodeo are a few of the exciting attractions visitors will find at this year’s fair.
Gates will be open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, and noon until 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission to the fair is $5 and children five and under get in free. First responders and their families get half-priced entry each day. Wristbands for carnival rides will be sold inside the fair for $15 on Thursday and increase to $20 Friday and Saturday.
For the third consecutive year, an IPRA sanctioned rodeo will be featured Friday and Saturday. The rodeo will include bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie down roping, team roping, barrel racing and breakaway events.
A complete list of events with dates and times will be released soon.
