The Board of Directors of Sycamore Bank is proud to announce the addition of Adam Kraft as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. Kraft joins Sycamore Bank with over 24 years of banking experience. He comes to Sycamore Bank after 22 years with Community Bank of Mississippi. Sycamore Bank’s President and COO, Mike Webb, who had a previous working relationship with Kraft, stated, “Adam is the best Chief Lender and credit person I know. We are very excited to tap into the experience and depth of Adam’s expertise in commercial lending, credit administration, and his unwavering attention to detail. His ability to mentor young lenders is something we will utilize as we diversify our portfolio and continue to increase our footprint in Desoto County.” Adam graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance, the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, and the Mississippi School of Banking at the University of Mississippi. After college, Adam moved to Desoto County to begin his banking career with Trustmark National Bank. When asked about his new position, Kraft explained, “I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a fine group of lenders with a variety of experiences and strengths. Together, we will build upon the bank’s customer and community centered philosophy. I look forward to doing everything in my power to not only grow our business, but also become the best bankers we can be in the process.” Adam serves as a board member of the North Mississippi Homebuilders Association. He and his wife, Kim are members of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church in Olive Branch, where he serves on the Leadership Team. The Krafts two children, Olivia (17) and Nathan (15), are students at Lewisburg High School.
