Suspect charged with molestation

A suspect is in custody and has been charged in connection with inappropriate behavior with a minor.

Major Gray Nickels from the Tate County Sheriff’s said William Benton Mills, 39, of Senatobia was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 13, and charged with sexual battery and child molestation.

Mills was detained at the Tate County Jail under a $100,000 bond.

Nickels said TCSO opened an inquiry after a complaint was filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
