A Tate County native was injured in a two-car accident in Quitman County which killed a Crenshaw man.
According to a report from the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred Sunday, Nov. 5, at approximately 7 p.m., on Highway 315 in Quitman County.
The report states a 2004 Ford 350 driven by Zackary L. Bishop, 22, of Senatobia was traveling north on Highway 315 when it collided with a southbound 2014 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Bryant M. Windless, 45, of Crenshaw.
Windless received fatal injuries from the crash, while Bishop received moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Two passengers in the Chevrolet driven by Windless were also transported from the scene to a local hospital where they were treated for moderate injuries, according to the report.
This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
