There is an old proverb that says, “Instead of complaining that the rose bush is full of thorns, be happy the thorn bush has roses.”
The point is of course that, it’s all in your perspective.
Many people who go through horrible circumstances find it very difficult to understand how other people who have gone through the same thing and come out with their sanity, and not marred with cynicism are able to do it.
If a person is only looking at the negative outcome of a situation then they are likely to be caught up in the whirlwind of it.
Everything in life has its purpose and reason for being.
If for no other reason, they may possibly be reminders that with God, even what appears to be an unwanted situation in our lives can turn out, to work for the good, if we embrace them as God tells us to, according to Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.
Once that understanding is embraced, anyone can find joy in their situation, no matter what it may be.
In God’s hands, intended evil becomes eventual good.
Joseph flourised in the midst of tragedy when he was placed in a dried up well and sold by his brothers as a slave.
He knew what it was like to be forgotten and forsaken by someone he had helped out of a bad situation.
He understood things from God's perspective so well that he even told those who had placed him that situation according to Genesis 50:20, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."
Nothing escapes God’s reach. Every government, king’s heart, weather pattern, and molecule that is in man, are at God's command.
As satan weaves his evil destruction and despair into our lives, God can reweave them to our good according to His purpose.
What hard time are you finding yourself in today sweet friend? Whatever it may be if you will allow God's will in your life, He will work thing out for your good!
Don't waste your time fretting over what is not in your control. But, choose to see your circumstances from God's perspective, knowing that He is not absent during your dark times, but has your best interest in mind!
