A man who received probation in 2022 for burglarizing a Tate County home is headed to jail.
Documents from Tate County Circuit Court show Tamorris Deshun Saulsberry, 28, of Senatobia, had his probation revoked to serve 12 years in Mississippi Department of Corrections on a charge of burglary of a dwelling.
Saulsberry was indicted by a grand jury in October 2022 and originally sentenced to 12 years of probation in April 2023, but court records show he violated the terms of that deal.
Saulsberry was taken into custody Thursday, May 19, 2022, by deputies from the Tate County Sheriff’s Office and charged with burglary and taking away of a motor vehicle.
A report from TCSO states Saulsberry developed as a suspect in an investigation after a 2004 GMC Sierra was reported stolen Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from the 3500 block of Thyatira-Tyro Road and located over a week later at an unoccupied residence in the 7500 block of Looxahoma-Tyro Road.
