A man on probation for breaking into a Tate County residence in 2022 has been ordered to serve time in prison.
Documents from Tate County Circuit Court show Liam Tristan Blake Waddell, 20, of Memphis, was revoked to serve four years and 363 days in Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) on a charge of grand larceny. Waddell had charges of conspiracy and burglary of a dwelling remanded to the file.
A report from the Tate County Sheriff’s Office states deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of Rifle Range Road on April 27, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., after a security system alerted them to a possible residential burglary. An investigation of the incident uncovered several firearms had been taken from the home.
Three suspects, including Waddell and Noah Taylor Justice of Hernando and James Skylar Jones of Southaven, were taken into custody April 28, 2022.
Justice was sentenced to 17 days in MDOC and four years, 348 days post-release supervision in November 2022 after pleading guilty to grand larceny. Jones was ordered to serve four days in MDOC and four years, 361 days post-release supervision in November 2022 after pleading guilty to grand larceny
The TCSO report states all firearms taken from the residence were recovered.
