Mary Ann Carter Monteith, 87, passed away April 24, 2022, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. Mary Ann was born on June 17, 1934, in Memphis, TN to R. L Carter, Jr. and Mary Ruth Gates Carter. She was a graduate of Como High School and the University of Mississippi. She was married to James Ray Monteith.
