The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, January 4, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
In the wake of a quick-hitting storm on Monday, conditions
for much of the eastern United States will dry out tomorrow.
Outside of the eastern Carolinas, temperatures will begin to
level out across much of the region as milder air returns.
Breezy conditions will develop across much of the center of
the country, with windy conditions likely to occur just east
of the Rockies. Farther west, stormy weather will continue
to pound portions of the Northwestern states as a potent
storm pushes further inland. Rain will continue for coastal
areas from the Pacific Northwest to Northern California,
while snow pushes east into the northern Rockies. Outside of
Northern California, much of the Southwest will remain dry
but seasonably cool.
