Writing can be a lonely endeavor, but it doesn’t have to be. Join writers of various skill levels and genres at the annual Mid-South Christian Writers Conference, March 17–18, 2023 at Collierville First Baptist Church in Collierville, Tennessee.
The theme of this year’s event will be “Living Words for the Ages.”
This two-day conference kicks off with four hands-on, in-depth workshops Friday afternoon. The Friday workshops are followed by a Meet & Greet in the evening which includes light refreshments. This evening fellowship has proven to be a great time to meet both aspiring and accomplished writers and authors. Saturday features nine workshops taught by experienced faculty, one-on-one mentoring sessions with authors, publishers and agents, and additional opportunities to meet with other writers during lunch.
Our keynote speaker, Cynthia Ruchti, is an author and senior literary agent. She tells stories, hemmed in hope, through novels, nonfiction, and speaking events. Since 2010, she has released 37 books, many of which have garnered industry awards.
The conference registration is $99. This price includes the Friday evening Meet and Greet, nine workshops, one-on-one appointments with faculty, a boxed lunch, and the bookstore. The optional Friday workshop is $60 per person or $40 with paid conference registration.
All sessions are held at Collierville First Baptist Church, 830 New Byhalia Road, Collierville, Tennessee.
