The first day for students at Magnolia Heights School is Friday, Aug. 4, and there are a few tweaks to reinforce its motto of "molding tomorrow's leaders through educational excellence today”.
Lynn Savage, Director of Communications at Magnolia Heights School, said secondary teachers and students will enhance their focus on American College Testing (ACT) prep during the upcoming year.
“Teachers will receive professional development in August and throughout the school year to best prepare our students,” Savage pointed out.
Magnolia Heights School, an Apple Distinguished School for 2021-24 for its innovative use of technology to enhance the learning environment, is also adding excitement to Friday nights on The Hill including tailgating in “The Village” for home football games.
Savage said the school is partnering with SuperTalk Mississippi radio and all MHS football games will be streamed live on FM 93.7.
