Mrs. Jobi P. Lee of Kingston Springs, TN and Mr. Scott McKinney of Senatobia announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline Paige McKinney, to Thomas Allen Zettergren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey P. Zettergren, of Senatobia.
The couple will be united in marriage on February 20, 2021 at 4:30 pm at Castle Hill Resort, Oxford, MS in the chapel.
Miss McKinney is the granddaughter of Mrs. Daniel I. McKinney (Norma) and the late Mr. McKinney of Memphis, TN; and Mr. Bobby W. Payne and the late Mrs. Payne (Joanne) of Tupelo.
Mr. Zettergren is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen E. Zettergren (Cora), as well as Mrs. T. Ray Tomlinson (Gail) and the late Mr. Tomlinson, all of Senatobia.
Miss McKinney graduated in 2014 from Desoto Central High School, Southaven, MS, earning a full scholarship to play Ole Miss Softball. She played for the Rebels competing in four successful seasons, graduating 2018 summa cum laude with a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. She played 2018 ASBA Professional Softball.
Miss McKinney furthered her education earning a MA in Speech Pathology from the University of Memphis in 2020, graduating with magna cum laude honors.
She is currently employed as a Speech Pathologist at Reliant Rehabilitation in Byhalia, MS.
Mr. Zettergren is a 2011 graduate of Magnolia Heights School in Senatobia. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2016 with a BBA in Insurance and Risk Management and a BBA in Real Estate after playing 5 years of Old Miss Football.
His football career afforded him a special opportunity participating in the Rebels back to back victories over Alabama in 2014-15, as well as numerous post-season bowl wins, including the 2016 Sugar Bowl. ‘TAZ’ is currently employed as a Senior Portfolio Advisor at REI Nation in Germantown, TN.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony.
