Walter Wayne Durley, 84, of Hernando, MS passed away peacefully on November 2, 2022, at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Ginger) Durley of Hernando, MS; two sisters, Jeanne Goodwill of Collierville, TN and Marie Wheeler (Frank) of Sanford NC; four daughters, Pam Montgomery of Hernando, MS; Cheryl Dulaney (Proby) of Madison, AL, Gina Watson (Chris) of Oxford, MS and Tammy Franklin (Sid) of Oxford, MS; two step-children Sheldon Hughes (Karen) of Byhalia, MS and Lisha Myrick of Nesbit, MS; 11 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Wayne enjoyed a lifelong career in agriculture. He farmed for many years in Tyro, MS, owned a farm equipment dealership in Collierville, TN and developed and sold a patented series of agriculture and landscaping chemicals. Services were held Friday, November 4, 2022 at Tyro Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
