New research reveals Travis Kelce is the most popular National Football League player in Mississippi.
A study by BettingSites.co.uk analyzed Google search data from the past 12 months to determine which players are most popular in each U.S. state.
Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, topped the list in Mississippi with an average of 15,717 searches per month. He was followed by Aaron Rodgers (11,742), Patrick Mahomes (11,458), Dak Prescott (8,808) and Jalen Hurts (8,792).
Overall, Kelce is the most popular player in 31 states including Alabama, Arkansas Florida, Louisiana and Tennessee.
A spokesman for BettingSites.co.uk attributed Kelce’s rise in popularity to his well-publicized romance with music icon Taylor Swift.
