Jimmy Fred Daugherty, Jr. 56, of Senatobia, MS, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven, MS. He was a member of First Baptist Church Sardis. Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, which includes his wife, Jan Daugherty of Senatobia; one daughter, Jesika Mahan (Devin) of Tunica; three sons, Jimmy Daugherty of Memphis, TN, Matt Daugherty (Laurie) of Houlka, and Lee Hensley (Mary Carole) of Senatobia, MS; his parents, Bertie and Robert Beard and Etta and Jimmy Daugherty; three sisters, Robbie Cook (Mike) of Batesville, Becky Tomlin (Bubba) of Harmontown, and Pam Howe (Mike) of Batesville; four brothers, Scott Beard (Wendy) and Phillip Beard (Lauren) all of Courtland, Nathan Daugherty (Chasity) of Sardis and Jerry Self (Trisha) of Texas; and thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Daugherty. The family will announce a memorial service at a later time. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ray Nowell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
