A Panola County man was arrested by local law enforcement in connection with inappropriate conduct with a minor.
Investigator Billy Burrow from the Tate County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as John J, Helsing, 34, of Sardis. Helsing was charged with enticement of a child to produce visual depiction of sexual conduct Tuesday, July 11, and released under a $10,000 bond.
Burrow said the juvenile and suspect were employed at the same Senatobia restaurant when the teenager’s parents discovered lewd videos and photos on her phone. TCSO opened an investigation which led to Helsing’s arrest after the parents filed a complaint.
The incident remains under review by TCSO, according to Burrow.
