To the readers,
With the landscape of the Federal government, we are not sure of what the future holds for Head Start programs all of the United States. We are requesting that you write letters to the senators and congressmen from your area. As you can imagine, if our funding is cut off, we have no way to operate and we will not be able to pay you for services you have provided.
Head Start has already impacted millions of children in our communities and country, particularly the rural communities where these programs represent a large share of child care options. However, to keep this initiative alive and ensure it reaches millions more, we need support from our vendors.
The closing of Head Start will not only affect our children but also our businesses and vendors. Your letter of support will help us in shaping a brighter future for our children. Please send a letter of support for our ICS, Inc. Head Start program to the senators and representatives.
Please mail your letter by March 10, 2025.
Sincerely,
Eloise McClinton
Executive Director

Since its inception in 1965, Head Start has provided critical early childhood education and comprehensive services to millions of low-income children and their families in communities across the nation.
