A Panola County man arrested in 2021 for his role in a shooting in a Senatobia neighborhood has been sentenced in Tate County Circuit Court.
Records show Jondarrius Jaquell Faulkner, 31, of Sardis, was ordered to concurrently serve five years in Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) and 15 years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to a charge of attempted aggravated assault and 10 years in MDOC after pleading guilty to a charge of felon in possession of a weapon.
Faulkner had five counts of attempted aggravated assault, a conspiracy charge and a charge of shooting into a dwelling remanded to the file. The latest sentence for attempted aggravated assault will run consecutively with Faulkner’s current term in prison. In April 2022, his probation was revoked to serve 12 years in MDOC on a charge of aggravated assault.
His tentative release date is August 2042. Faulkner was arrested by officers from the Senatobia Police Department Aug. 17, 2021, in connection with a shooting incident in the Senatobia Housing Authority in the 700 block of Cox Street. He was indicted by the Tate County Grand Jury in March 2023.
