Ernest "Bubba" Simpson, 85, of Senatobia, Miss passed away July 25, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto.
He worked for Quebecor Printing Co. for 45 years. Bubba was an avid camper and loved dirt track racing.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Simpson; daughter, Shelli Shackleford; son, Rick Simpson (Pam); sisters, Shirley McKinney (George) and Lynn Dickerson; brother, Jimmy Simpson (Elaine); grandchildren, John, Casey, Colton, Dean, David, Amanda, Zachary, Matthew, and Brandon; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Russ Simpson; parents, Ernie and Frances Simpson; and grandson, C.T. Simpson.
It was Bubba's wish not to have any services. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Pate-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
