Elizabeth Merrill Bryant, 100, of Greenleaf left her earthly home on September 22, 2020 to be with the LORD. She was born in 1919 in Coldwater, MS. and in her early years worked as a seamstress at Carters in Senatobia, MS. Later in her life she met and married Rev. Hollis Bryant whom she spent the next 69 years assisting him in his ministry and serving the community that they so loved. A graveside service was held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Greenleaf Cemetery. She is survived by her two daughters; Alcia Moore and Sonja Graham (Joe), seven grandchildren; Bryant Graham (Lynn), Earney Graham (Tonya), Joey Graham (Tonia), Rhonda Dancy, Robin Brubeck (Les), Greg McFarlin (Christy) and Veronica McFarlin. She also leaves thirteen great grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her and loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hollis Bryant, her parents, Dan and Lola Merrill, a daughter, Phyllis McFarlin, a grandson, Randal Moore, a brother, Frederick Merrill and a sister, Carolyn Reeves. Brantley Phillips Funeral Home in Hernando was in charge of arrangements.
