Elizabeth Garrett Nobles,95, was born on August 3, 1929 and passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025 in Senatobia, Miss.
Elizabeth was born in Morton, Miss., to Ina Mae DuBose Garrett and John Ray Garrett, Sr.
'She worked in accounting for many years until her retirement. Elizabeth enjoyed music, playing the piano, sewing, singing in the choir and serving her church at First Baptist in Senatobia until her eyesight and health prevented it.
Elizabeth is survived by her caregivers and special friends, Scott and Hope Green of Senatobia and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Grady Nobles; son, Greg Nobles; her parents, Ina Mae and John Ray Garrett, Sr.; one sister, Mary Louise Vassar; and two brothers, Ray Garrett, Jr and Harmon Garrett.
A graveside service for Elizabeth will be held Friday, July 25, at 10 a.m. at Senatobia Memorial Cemetery.
