ssistant Chief Matt Defore identified the suspect as Contraveyun Walls, 19, of Senatobia. Walls was placed under arrest on two felony charges of simple assault on a law enforcement officer.
Defore said Walls was also charged with various misdemeanors such as simple domestic violence, contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a child, possession of paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Tate County Jail where his bond was set at $50,000.
Police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Brownsferry Road at approximately 1:31 a.m., after receiving a call regarding a domestic dispute at a residence.
