Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting into a residence in a Senatobia neighborhood.
Chief Richard Chandler identified the suspect as Alvin Loveberry, 30, of Senatobia. Loveberry was charged with drive-by shooting and shooting into a dwelling. He was transported to the Tate County Jail and held under a $300,000 bond.
Chandler said officers were dispatched to 112 Carter Street on Wednesday, July 14, at 10:04 a.m., after receiving reports of shots fired in the area.
He said a residence was hit several times by gunfire, but no one was injured.
Following a thorough investigation by Senatobia police officers and detectives, Loveberry was taken into custody Thursday, July 15, in connection with the incident.
An investigation is ongoing and a search for more suspects related to the shooting is underway, according to Chandler.
