A tip from an eyewitness led to the arrest of an individual in connection with a burglary in eastern Tate County.
Captain Lisa Sanders from the Tate County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Richard Lowell Gayden, 56, of Coldwater. Gayden was charged with burglary and held without bond at the Tate County Jail.
Sanders said a concerned citizen notified authorities Monday, Jan. 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a male subject was removing items from a property in the 1600 block of Barr Road. Deputies located the subject a short time later and recovered the unidentified stolen items.
The incident remains under investigation by the Tate County Sheriff’s Office.
