Senatobia Police Department issued an arrest for Kolby May under the charges of sexual battery of a child under 14 years of a age Friday, May 13, following a report from Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
The police department received initial findings Thursday, May 12, and through a series of interviews, concluded the charges be made to May the following day.
Chief investigator Brannon Rushing said the case hit close to home. “Warrants were issued Friday and with the help of Desoto County Sheriff’s Department, we were able to pick him up form the Nesbit community.”
May was booked into the Tate County Jail under a $500,000 bond from Judge Nick Smith. Under condition of his bond, May is to have no contact with minors.
“What concerns me,”said Rushing. “Is that in cases like this, we find out there are more victims.”
