Ephesians 4:4-5
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Most agree on ONE LORD, most agree on ONE SPIRIT,
We don’t all believe in one faith.
In this scripture, what is the one faith? its not talking about individual faith, our faith, its talking about the system of faith, the gospel of Jesus Christ
Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
we see that the one faith is the system of faith, the gospel of faith.
So we see, Romans 14:23 : what is not of faith is sin. If we are doing anything in worship that is not according to or by the authority of Jesus Christ, then it is sinful, it is not authorized by God.
examine what you are being taught, examine what you are doing in worship, does it match up with what was done in the New Testament?
We are not under the old testament, it is not our law ,
Hebrews 8:13 13By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.
We are under the new law, people haven’t been under the old law for 2000 years, since it was nailed to the cross.
