Carolyn Crawford Stanford
Carolyn Crawford Stanford, 82, passed away March 10, 2023 at Methodist University Hospital. She is survived by her beloved sons, Mark and Ray Stanford; brother, R.E. (Jack) Crawford; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Carolyn was born at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN on December 11, 1940 to Raymond and Velma Crawford. She was a lifelong resident of Coldwater, MS and worked for over 49 years at Senatobia Bank. Carolyn was an avid runner for many years and enjoyed competing in races. She loved serving others through her work with the Optimist Club and was a member of Independence Church of Christ. Memorial donations may be sent to Independence Church of Christ, 8543 Hwy 305, Coldwater, MS 38618. Services were held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed in Dean-Crawford Cemetery.
