An investigation by the Tate County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of two adults and a juvenile in connection with a string of residential burglaries in the Looxahoma-Tyro area.

Investigator Lisa Sanders said eight break-ins were reported in that part of the county in a span of three weeks. The first one occurred just after the New Year.

The two adults, identified by Sanders as 19-year old Benjamin Blaine and 19-year old Misty Welch, both of Senatobia, were charged with eight counts of burglary of a dwelling.
