Adam Moore and Gwendolyn Jones will challenge for the vacant at large seat on the Senatobia Board of Aldermen in a runoff on Thursday, Dec. 27.

Unofficially, Moore had 528 votes, while Jones grabbed 240 in a special election on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

A majority of the ballots plus one was needed to avoid a runoff.

Moore earned just over 46 percent of the 1,137 votes in the special election.
