Huebert Crawford, Sr.

Huebert Crawford, Sr., 80, of Memphis, Tenn., passed away August 2, 2018 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Crawford of Memphis, TN; daughters, Janice Johnson, Carolyn Green, Holly Crawford, Merlene Harrington and Lynda Shivers; sons, Huebert Crawford, Jr., Antonious London, Rodricho Edwards and Tevin Faulkner; sister, Marilyn Holliday; 49 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at The Greater New Liberty M.B. Church. Burial followed in Hunters Chapel Cemetery in Como. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Ina P. Dooley

Ina P. Dooley, 76, of Senatobia, passed away August 6, 2018 at her residence. She is survived by her sister, Jane Gooch (Lanny) of Houston; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kay Dooley of New Albany; brother-in-law, Bobby Freeman of Coldwater; special niece, Cheryl Hanmer who was like a daughter to her; 10 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews and 13 great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles D. and Beulah Dooley; sisters, Gloria Dooley and Barbara Freeman and brother, Charles W. Dooley. She retired from Landau and was a member of First Baptist Church Senatobia and their choir for 40 years. She enjoyed family, friends, travel, singing in the choir and gardening. In lieu of flowers and plants memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Senatobia. Services were held Thursday, August 9, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Senatobia. Burial followed in New El Bethel Cemetery in Oxford. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Ora Lee Love

Ora Lee Love, 84, of Como; died Sunday, August 5, 2018 in Como. Services were held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Ebenezer M.B. Church in Como. Visitation was Friday, August 10 at Felix Cauthen Funeral Home in Senatobia with burial following services at Ebenezer M.B. Church Cemetery. She is survived by five daughters; Howard L. Moore of Sardis, Annie R. Love of Horn Lake, Deborah A. Love of Memphis, Tenn., Janiece Love of Como and Jaunwanda Love of Sardis. She is also survived by three sons; Kenneth L. Lewis of Memphis, Tenn., Marcus D. Love of Austin, Texas, Monico T. Love of Courtland; one sister, Massie Lee Garrett of Senatobia, a brother, Billy Wayne Burton of Senatobia, 17 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

Ronald Jamison

Ronald Jamison, 61, of Chicago, Illinois died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Madison, Tenn. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 11 at Thyatira Church of Christ with burial following at Carter Memorial Cemetery in Senatobia. He is survived by his mother, Grace Patton, two daughters, LaRonda Jamison of Chicago, Illinois and Jamie Jamison of Atlanta, Georgia. He also leaves a sister, Norma Mason of Nashville, Tenn., and 2 grandchildren. Rodgers Funeral Home of Coldwater was in charge of arrangements.

Willie Miller

Willie Miller, 66, of Independence MS, died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Senatobia Healthcare and Rehab in Senatobia. Services were held Saturday, August 11 at West Looxahoma Church of Christ at 12 noon. Visitation was prior to the service and Friday, August 10 at Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial followed at West Looxahoma Cemetery. He is survived by his spouse, Shirley Jean Reed Miller, five daughters, Tameka Miller of Senatobia, Maudie Ramsey of Coldwater, Veronica Miller of Memphis, Sharon Malone of Senatobia and Tammie Young of Coldwater and three sons; Kelvin Miller of Coldwater, Randy Wright of Senatobia and Christopher Ramsey of Richland, Washington. He is also survived by a sister, Addie Love of Coldwater and two brothers, R.C. Miller of MS, Arrenza Cox of Sandusky, Oh.13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater was in charge of the services.

Janette Johnson Sizemore

Janette Johnson Sizemore, 88, of Senatobia, passed away August 2, 2018 at her residence. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Johnson Nichols of Gainsville, Fla.; sons, Christopher Dixon Sizemore of Tulsa, Okla., and Jason Cahill Sizemore of The Woodlands, Texas; stepmother, Hazel Johnson of Senatobia; sisters, Imogene Terry of Detroit, Mich., and Betty Ann Barkley of Jackson; brother, Sid Johnson of Senatobia; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dixon Sizemore. Memorials may be sent to Senatobia Church of Christ where she was a member. A memorial service was held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Senatobia Church of Christ. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Josephine Newson Stevenson

Josephine Newson Stevenson, 75, of Coldwater died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Memphis, TN. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 11 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Senatobia. Visitation was prior to the funeral with burial following services at New Zion Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.C. Stevenson. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Johnson of Coldwater;  five sons, Albertis Stevenson, Mitchell W. Stevenson, Henry E. Stevenson, Oakful C. Stevenson and Christopher B. Stevenson all of Coldwater.She also leaves six sisters; Annie Bell Baker of Memphis, TN, Joannia Boyd of Independence, Jelley Bright of Independence, Evy Jean Newson of Southaven, Christine Boyd of Independence, Martha Jean Mays of Tyro, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Rodgers Funeral Home of Coldwater was in charge of arrangements.

Willie M. Milan Young

Willie M. Milan Young, 93, of Como, passed away August 4, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Oxford. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Young. She is survived by her daughters, Annie Gale Logan of Abbeville  and Edna Mae Hayes of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Leonord Milan and Chester Hamilton both of Chicago, Ill.; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. James Church of God in Christ. Burial followed in Ebenezer M.B. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
