Jo Ann Albert
Jo Ann Albert, 76, of Coldwater, Miss., passed away on July 8, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., July 11, at Dean Crawford Cemetery in Coldwater.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lynn Buckner of Collierville, Tenn.; son, Russell Kevin Albert of Coldwater; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of Eudora Baptist Church.
Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
Edia Allison Britt
Edia Allison Britt, 49, of Ridgeland, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
She was born in Starkville on January 28, 1965, and was the daughter of Amos Edward Boyer Britt, Jr. and Diane Allison Britt.
Ms. Britt received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.
She was a member of the David Holmes Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was the Cemetery Administrator for Boyer Cemetery.
Ms. Britt was an avid deer hunter, and loved bow hunting. She loved to travel, and loved all sports. Another hobby was scuba diving, and she was an assistant dive instructor.
Ms. Britt was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Indianola, and was a Trust Officer for Regions Bank.
Ms. Britt was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, A. E. Boyer Britt, Sr. and Lenore Powell Britt; Maternal Grandfather, Samuel Martin Allison; and one aunt, Patricia Allison Madden.
She is survived by her parents, A. E. Boyer Britt, Jr. and Diane Allison Britt of Indianola; Maternal Grandmother, Ruth Ann Allison of Sarah; one brother, A. E. Boyer Britt, III (Cherrie Lynn) of Indianola; aunts, Joyce Randall of Birmingham, Ala., Ellen Anderson (Bill) of Houston, Texas, and Alice Varner (Orv) of Indianola; uncles, Marty Allison (Mary) of Sarah, James Allison (Judy) of Sarah, John E. Britt (Donna) of Indianola, and Bill Madden of Atlanta, Ga.; niece, Anna Bailey Britt, and nephew, Cody Britt.
The family received friends Tuesday, July 1, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. The funeral service was held Wednesday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Indianola. Interment followed in Indianola City Cemetery, all under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola.

Dorothy Jean Doyle, 38, factory worker, died on July 5, 2014. Funeral services were held at Ruffin Grove M.B. Church in Como on Saturday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. Interment followed n Braham Chapel CME Church in Sardis.
She is survived by a daughter, Karnesha Doyle of Como; special friend, Calvin Freeman; three sisters, Renida Young, Marchelle Burton, Shanta Burton, all of Como; five brothers, Terry Doyle of South Bebit, Ill., Jimmie Young, Ray Young, Carlos Burton, and Mario Burton, all of Como.
Felix Cauthen Funeral Home in Senatobia had charge of the arrangements.
